Covid-19 Testing FAQ

 

What kind of testing do you perform?

Testing for the virus we utilize real-time RT-PCR assay intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid from SARS-CoV-2 in nasal swab specimens from patients suspected of COVID-19. Also available is the Rapid Antigen Testing from Abbott BinaxNOW, Access Bio CareStart and Quidel QuickVue. 

For antibody testing we use the Abbott Diagnostic SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) IgG antibody test method. The test method is performing at specificity 99.6% or sensitivity 100%

What does it cost?

The purpose of the CARES Act is to ensure that all Americans have access to testing. Our goal is to help fulfil that mission. We bring COVID-19 Testing (viral and antibody) to your facility. Our only requirement is that we have at least 100 or more participants (Employees, contractors, vendors, and family members can participate). We do not charge for this onsite service. In most scenarios there is no cost for hosting individualized testing events.

 

What is required?

We require approximately 100 participants per event to host a testing event. These events provide individualized treatment so there is no need to limit the population to any specific group. It can be opened to family members, temp. employees, contractors, vendors, students, etc.

 

Can we schedule reoccurring test?

Yes. Most host organizations schedule and test on a regular cadence.

How do I host an event?

Contact us to meet with us for a quick review of the process and then fill out the reservation form. That is it. We will setup an online scheduling system for your event and coordinate the delivery of the tests to your facility, schedule the staff, conduct the event and get the results to the lab. Participants will be able to login and see their results.

How do I get my results? (Global Virus Pass)

When you register for testing you will sign up for a Global Virus Pass (GVP). Your GVP will provide us with all the necessary information to get tested. Once the lab completes your test, the results will be uploaded instantly to your GVP. You will be notified via email and your results will always be on your Global Virus Pass.

What is a Global Virus Pass?

We partner with CLIA approved labs that use the latest in digital virus testing technology. Global Virus Pass is like your passport for laboratory testing results and even your vaccine records. All results are stored with the highest levels of security and compliance with all HIPPA requirements.

 

How can I see my children's results?

When you register with Global Virus Pass you will be able to connect your family with in the section “My Circle”.  This allows parents and caregivers to monitor the results of any laboratory work done within their circle.
